Change Payment for Your
Lifetime Benefit Term Coverage Insurance

 

 

 

 

The policy issued to the North Carolina Retirement System (NCRS) will end on May 1, 2019.  However, you can continue your Lifetime Benefit Term Insurance coverage by providing your payment information for easy, monthly premium deductions.

 
Please choose either PORTABILITY OPTION or CONVERSION OPTION.

PORTABILITY OPTION

Choose this option to continue your Lifetime Benefit Term Insurance coverage. With this privilege, your premium rates will not change and you will be responsible to remit premium payments. Simply choose how you would like to pay your premiums:

CONVERSION OPTION

Choose this option within 31 days of the termination of the NCRS group policy to convert your group term coverage to an Individual Family Life Protector Insurance policy with the same maximum benefit amount. A representative will need to follow up with you:
